Decrease / disassembling of our society. It
is no longer acceptable to propose
unrestrained development in a finite
context. It is necessary that society and
individuals have the occasion to reflect on
the positive aspects of reducing. It is
necessary to emphasize the positive
meaning of deconstruction. An action we
usually perceive as negative and
degenerative by our subconscious. We
must create conditions for understanding
that disassembling an existing building,
when this had been left abandoned, may
be a great opportunity for reflecting on
our society from a creative and positive
point of view. Attention, disassembling is
not demolition. Not destruction, but using
the existing building as the raw material,
cutting, opening, and accepting the
encroachment of nature into the
architecture. Reviving dead architecture,
changing its functional essence is a
proactive and efficient method of saving
resources and building a future with a
small investment. All of us have
experienced the strange sensation of
freedom and infinite evolution when the
framework of a building under
construction reaches completion. This is
the positive feeling we wish to recreate
and communicate with the idea of
disassembling architecture. This is our
proposal to resolve future challenges in a
positive way. We need to remember that
transformation and consumption are the
essence of life in evolution.
Decrescita, DISASSEMBLAGGIO della no-
stra società. Non è più accettabile pro-
porre uno sviluppo infinito in un contesto
finito. È necessario che le collettività e gli
individui, abbiano occasione di riflettere
sulle opportunità offerte dalla decrescita.
È necessario rendere evidente la positi-
vità della decostruzione che sentiamo
normalmente come negativa poiché la
nostra coscienza spontanea ne percepi-
sce solo il lato involutivo. Dobbiamo
creare le condizioni per comprendere che
il
disassemblaggio
del costruito, quando
questo sia diventato inutile, è un oppor-
tunità positiva di riformulazione della no-
stra società. Attenzione:
disassemblaggio
e non demolizione magari ricostruendo
molto volume in più. Non distruggere ma
tagliare, aprire, accettare l’avanzata della
natura sull’architettura. Rendere attive ar-
chitetture morte cambiandone il senso
funzionale è un metodo propositivo ed
efficace per risparmiare risorse e creare
futuro con bassi investimenti. Tutti noi
abbiamo vissuto lo strano senso di libertà
e di infinita evoluzione che si percepisce
quando, costruendo un edificio, si arriva
allo stadio delle strutture primarie. Que-
sto è il senso positivo che proponiamo di
ricreare e trasmettere per propagandare
il metodo del
disassemblaggio
in archi-
tettura come contributo a risolvere le
sfide future poiché, va ricordato, vivere
consumandosi nella trasformazione è
l’essenza della vita.
