Two plaques mounted on the façade of the Ferrara house of the Jewish physician and philosopher Isacco Lampronti (1679 – 1756) perpetuate his memory.

The most recent plaque on the façade dates back to 1957, two centuries after the death of Isacco Lampronti in 1756. The text reads:

"Two centuries after the death of / Isacco Lampronti / doctor and philosopher / who gave prestige to the city, the nation, Judaism / the Community of Ferrara Jews/ the Union of Israelite Communities in Italy / the Municipality of Ferrara / on the house where he lived and operated /perpetuate his memory / 7 April 1957 – 6 nissan 5717".

The smaller plaque below dates from 1872 and shows:

"Here lived in this house / Isaac Lampronti / born in MDCLXXIX died in MDCCLXI / medical theologian / among the most celebrated scholars/ honoured the homeland / reverent to science / some citizens posed / MDCCCLXII".
